Last updated: 9th of August, 2025
Our Commitment
Codesphere is committed to making its website and platform accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of technology or ability.
This statement applies to the public marketing website at https://codesphere.com and selected web application entry points like https://codesphere.com/ide.
Measures to Support Accessibility
We take the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Integrating accessibility into our internal guidelines and design system
- Continuous color contrast checks and semantic HTML usage
- Keyboard navigation testing for critical flows
- Text alternatives for meaningful non-text content
- Responsive layout and zoom support
- Fully automated accessibility checks in our CI/CD development pipeline
- Working with an external auditor to manually test and certify key user flows
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility. We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance; large parts of the website are conformant. The web application is currently undergoing full certification.
The assessment is based on self-evaluation combined with automated tooling and selective manual audits.
Known Accessibility Issues
We are aware of the following current limitations:
- Some decorative images may lack explicit role="presentation" attributes
- The documentation under /docs is currently being reworked to remove limitations.
- Occasional insufficient focus indication on legacy buttons
- PDF downloads may not all be fully tagged for screen readers
We are actively addressing these issues in our ongoing accessibility improvement backlog.
